document.write("Please could someone tell me what the risk's are involed with having a shunt put in and what the percentage's are surrounding these risk's?I have a friend with a 2 year old who was born 6 weeks premature and has been diagnosed with hydrocephalus and according to 1 doctor they would like to wait for atleast 2 years before concidering a shunt operation,But another doctor has said it would be safe to so A.S.A.P.Are there any other alternatives to having this operation as he is only 2 years old but is suffering with really intense migrains??please help....
