People are far too quick to pop pills these days instead of looking at lifestyle and diet changes that could prevent infection or at least lessen the impact on ones health.

Because then it isn't that effective. Also, what this article doesn't say if that the jab only protects you against a few strains, while there are probably millions out there, not only one as this article seems to imply . ");

Taking the vaccine ensures 100% exposure to at least 3 different antigen strains (the body mounts an immune response as if it were infected by 3 different strains of virus simultaneously). This produces a burst of activity by the immune system which opens the door to potential disasters, such as the formation of antibodies that attack ones own body (auto-anibodies).
Components in vaccines (such as mercury) could result in long term detrimental effects if vaccines are taken annually (due to accumilation of these toxic products).
The pros - taking the disadvantages into consideration, I do not believe flu vaccines are the way forward, try this instead.
1)Get extra sleep
2)Get at least 20min sunshine (the vitamin D that is produced is protective), take a Vit D supplement if weather not favorable.
3)Take a vit c supplement
4)Consider wearing a face mask when going out during the flu season (no need to be shy, your health is at risk)
5)Avoid high people density areas during the flu season whenever possible (unnecessary visits to malls and supermarkets, cinemas, clubs and discos)
6)Take a committment from frienda and families that there will be no visits if one is unwell.
These will be more conducive to good health and avoids the downsides associated with vaccines.. Nassim Cassim Kamdar");

Effectiveness of vaccines depends (in part)on the strain in the vaccine and the strain with which one is infected; it has nothing to do with which organisation producs or endorses it. Different regions are affected by different strains making a single vaccine for the whole world impractible.
This sound less like journalism and more like advertising (bad at that too).. n");
