Kelvin: I have a question regarding blood circulation and varicose veins. Is there a risk that a blood clot coming from the veins could go to the heart?
Rob: Blood clots don't normally come from varicose veins, but the varicose veins might be a surrogate for disease of the deep venus system. In that case you might get clots from the deep venus system, but not from varicose veins per se.
Kelvin: Can exercise cure the varicose veins?
Rob: The simple answer is no.
Kelvin: Can cold or warm feet have an effect on varicose veins.
Harry: Just to answer quickly again, I would say no.
Kelvin: Okay, thanks very much.
