Question:

My daughter is suffering from an ear infection. What do I do?

Answer:

It is important to understand if this is an outer or middle ear infection. Recurrent middle ear infections are bacterial in origin, but the repeated use of antibiotics is not indicated.

Your doctor will give advice on draining of the fluids either by using nose drops or through a surgical intervention.

Outer ear infections mostly responds well to local treatment as prescribed by a doctor.
