Drinking coffee is often frowned upon the perception being that it is bad for one's health or at best has no health benefits.

Yet evidence has come to the fore showing coffee contains valuable bioactive compounds beneficial to mental and physical performance.

In the past, confounding factors have often not been taken into consideration, especially poor lifestyle patterns associated with heavy coffee consumption i.e. lack of exercise and poor diet. But is coffee really that bad for you?

More recent studies are showing evidence that coffee isn't to blame for bad health. What do you think?
